A safety coupling designed for linear force limitation. It disengages in both compression and tension once the calibrated force is reached. The setting force is adjustable by turning the adjuster nut on the springs, and re-engagement is automatic. It is suitable for connecting linear motion components, even those positioned at a distance from each other.
