Compact elastic coupling
Up to 105 kNm of torque and 220 mm bore diameters.
The GEC coupling consists of two fully turned steel hubs (UNI EN 10083/98). These hubs are connected by high-strength steel radial pins seated within elastomeric elements.
The pins and elastomers are shielded by an external band, providing the coupling with a high degree of protection. This design feature allows for maintenance—specifically the replacement of elastic elements—without moving the hubs or shafts, thereby reducing maintenance time and optimizing plant productivity.
It is particularly suitable for connecting Pelton turbines, coupling engines to worm compressors, and generally for transmissions where safety is paramount without compromising performance.
