A robust torque limiter featuring modular torque adjustment. The free rotation feature upon overload allows for high rotational speeds, even with high torque settings and large shaft diameters. The torque modules can be individually adjusted, and re-engagement of the unit is quick and easy.

MODULAR TORQUE LIMITER "DSM"

  • Statically balanced with symmetrically arranged modules;
  • Torsionally rigid;
  • Module replacement possible without removing the device or other transmission components;
  • Complete separation between the driving and driven components after disengagement;
  • Integrated bearings for transmission support;
  • Torque range: 200 – 120,000 Nm; Max. bore: ø260 mm.

  • Die-cast aluminum housing;
  • Protection rating IP57 (DIN 40050);
  • Available with 1 contact (EM1) or 2 contacts (EM2);
  • Adjustable lever end position;
  • Operating temperature range: -10°C to +85°C;
  • Voltage input options: 1.5A – 250 VAC; 5A – 24 VDC; 0.2A – 250 VDC;
  • Pre-travel: 0.7 mm;
  • Over-travel: 4 ÷ 8 mm depending on setting (adjustable range of 6 mm).
